What is VVA Chapter 789 and AVVA Chapter 789 About:

We are here in Liberty County and its surrounding counties to:

1st:  Assist Vietnam veterans and their Families. 

2nd: To Educated the American Public about the concerns and trials facing not only Vietnam veterans but Veterans from All Eras. 

3rd: To Assist when needed the Active-Duty military Members and their families here in the Ft Stewart/HAAF area.

 

“Never again will one generation of veterans abandon another.”

VVA knows what returning veterans face. We have been through it before and we know that, despite all the rhetoric, returning veterans will face major problems. VVA will be here for as long as it takes to make sure that those who serve our country receive the care and respect, they have earned.

 

AVVA Ch 789 Moves Forward.

With a ton of learning, contacting National Officers and with the great assistance of Faye Morris and Liz Moore, I was able to complete and submit all the required paperwork to paperwork for our AVVA Chapter to become the Very First Incorporated AVVA Chapter in the State of Georgia.
